This project is  an adventure story which combines some of the elements of Hans Christian Anderson's lesser known tales together with the "Sorcerer's Apprentice" which was not devised by Ducas or Walt Disney but is from a poem by Goethe. Fred, the shoe maker, has given the king a pair of shoes but someone has placed a spell on them and the king can not stop dancing. A mysterious old woman tells Fred that he must enter the Great Forest and travel to the Magic Castle to see the wizard but how will Fred cope with the Wolf and the Dragon?

Themes: bravery, listening to people, old age, death, magic, puppets, music, excitement,

Thought provoking and fun.
