A storytelling drama in which the children prepare to travel on a voyage of discovery on which they hear  the Legend of Ginnungagap and the story of the Viking hero Sigurd.

This project is designed for year 3 children and older. It gives an account of the Viking creation myths and the telling of a Viking hero saga. The children take on the role of a Viking settlement forced to flee to another unknown land. There is a substantial drama section in this in which Graham leads the children on their voyage. Each session lasts about an hour and a quarter. Although the project can take place in a classroom, the hall area would be more suitable.
