The traditional tales told to children in England come from a rich mixture of stories from all over the world. Collections written down and published by the Brothers Grimm, Hans Anderson and others, became popular over a hundred years ago. These formed the bulk of a new oral tradition and are now what a lot of people remember as tradition tales although many of these stories, of course, have their roots outside England.
Graham's collection of traditional tales are a mixture of the familiar and the less well known and could form an exciting part of your literacy, arts and history curriculum. Children will remember a visit by Graham for a long time and it will help teachers motivate their pupils in the study of language.
