The story of a teenager in a 1950s quarrying community. Will he follow his father and Grandfather into the quarry or be tempted by the the films in the local cinema and the "Rock and Roll"? A story based on a traditional folk tale that looks at "Mankinds Lot". This version explores many of the social changes of the period and, of course, has a little Rock 'n' Roll!.
